What is Right Trader?

Right Trader is an online marketplace that brings together tradespeople who provide domestic service with home owners, office managers, letting agents and landlords who are looked for tradesmen to complete projects for them.

Do I pay any fees for using Right Trader?

No, for people posting jobs it is absolutely FREE.

 How do I know the trades people are as good as you say?

We don't say anything. We rely on the crowd sourcing to ensure that the tradesman provides a good service. And unlike directories and review sites, we only allow a customer to review a tradesman that has performed a project for them through Right Trader. It is very hard to fool this system. It means that the reviews are always genuine.

How do I know if the quoted amounts are the going rate?

We recommend that you should get a minimum of five quotes. Always check to see if VAT needs to be added and always make sure that the quote contains all costs associated with the work.

What do I do if I have a problem with my tradesperson?

Right Trader is a platform for people to find tradesmen and although legally our responsibility ends there, we will do our upmost to help if there are any problems. Please contact us if you have any problems or need advice.

What if I can not find a tradesperson in my area?

Right Trader is a new company and will be striving hard to ensure we have tradespeople in all areas. However, if none have got back to you after you've posted your job, please contact us and we will personally endeavour to find 3 suitable tradesman in your area. How's that for service?

What is Right Trader for?

The site is to help you to get more jobs and build your reputation online through the Right Trader rating system.

How does it work?

It is very simple. Just register your business, the type of work you do and the areas you cover. When a job is posted that matches your business we will send you and email and / or an optional SMS message to your mobile phone. You will see the details of the job and if you accept it then you will be provided with the contact details of the customer. Now, give them a call and get the job!

Does it cost anything for me to use Right Trader's services?

No, Right Trader is a free service. The only payment is for optional SMS messages.

How is Right Trader different from other trade referral sites?

We are different because we are not greedy. We don’t charge monthly subcription or commission fees. We don't even charge for the leads. just simple payments that mean you will pay less than other trade referral sites. We only charge enough to enable us to advertise Right Trader in a way that brings you enough work to make you happy, oh and keep the hamsters fed of course .

After intensive research and reading the blogs and trade forums with their large number of complaints, made it quite clear that the nations trades people needed a new alternative site. Right Trader was created to meet this need and is aiming to provide a service that is free of the complaints our competitors receive.

How do I get my first feedback?

You need to do your first job! And then we contact the customer for feedback on how that went. This is a very important part of the process and you can help by asking the cutomer to give you some feedback. Traders with more complete profiles and good feedback win more jobs.

I have received negative feedback. What can I do?

If you received negative feedback for a job you have carried out for a Right Trader customer and are not happy with this, please contact us and we will investigate on your behalf and contact the customer.
